Product information

Crystal-clear special adhesive for bonding all common rigid plastics such as ABS, acrylic glass, Plexiglas and rigid PVC, also in combination with wood, paper, metal, glass and ceramics. Resistant to water, oil and diluted acids and alkalis.

What materials does UHU Hard Plastic bond?

Bonds PS, ABS, SAN, SB, ASA, PVC, PMMA, CN, CAB, PC, also in combination with phenolic resins (Bakelite®), melamine resins (Resopal®) and GRP polyester. Not suitable for Styropor®, PE, PP, PA, POM, PTFE, silicone.

How is UHU Hard Plastic processed?

Clean bonding surfaces well (dry and free of dust and grease). Apply a thin layer on one side, on porous or rough surfaces on both sides. Join and fix the parts to be bonded immediately. For hard, closed surfaces, allow to dry for 3 - 4 minutes, apply another coat to one surface, join together - fix briefly. Only apply a very thin coat to thin-walled plastic surfaces!
